This day.' j Ihe Three Brethers have lodged with the National Bank 123 ounces of retorted gold from their crushing, making altogether from the stuff crushed about 190 ounces.
The Neptune; trial crushing was finished yesterday and retorting is now going on. .. ■ ' The Golden Point started crushing today. There is a first-class show on the plates. The Plutus commenced crushing during the week, and a better return is expected. In the case of Horton, Brett and Co., sued for wages, a verdict for defendants was given. ; ; i • :
