COBOMANDEL. This day. The Emily has finished crushing, and the return warrants a continuation of the works. The Bismarck is likely to finish crushing to-morrow. The Union Beech chamber is finished, and they have let a contract for driving at twenty seven shillings per foot.
The Royal Oak has reported a parcel oi specimens.. A case against Horton, Brett & Co., proprietors of the Mail, for wages, is adjourned until to-morrow. The Magistrate stronely condemned the system of private telegrams asking the adjournment of cases.f Re Sykerv. Waller, verdict was giren for plaintiff. ■■.;
