There is nothing particularly new to report from this mine. They are now working on the City of London reef 80 feet below the No 3 level, being .50 feet in from the old shaft.' This reef is 4 feet thick, and runs in an angle through the company's ground; of about 500 feet to the present boundary. Whether the lode will carry the gold so far is another matter. The appearance of the stuff at present is promising.
