THEATRE ROYAL.

The enterprising lessee of the Theatre Royal is meeting with the. success which he deserves .from the Thames people. The attendance last night was again good, the house being well filled, and the performances of .the Girards were again a subject of unbounded, astonishment. They are certainly t'je wonders of the age, and should be seen at all hazards. Of this class of business we have had tKe pleasure of witnessing the greatesb talent that the world has produced in an arena which may be known to many, namely, the amphitheatre in Holborn, but never have we witnessed anything so truly marvellous, so unique as is done by the Girards. If, like the Chips of Dickens, those peopLx-Jiad entered into an unholy comn^rifith' the King of Darkness, could not be to Vjjfconsiderable extent more provocative onraiazement, and their make-up is admirably chosen to give a satanic appearance to their actions. The small matter which one of them makes of going up stairs half a dozen steps at a stride is suggestive of the marvels of fairy' land, related in historical works for the information and guidance of the young. The Girards have been engaged for one more night, for which those who have not 'seen their performance are in no small amount indebted to Mr De Lias; and a crowded house may be expected this evening, the last opportunity which the Thames public will have of gratifying their curiosity. The programme announced 1 is an unusually full one. The Girards will, in addition to their usual entertainment, perform a pantomime, and the drama of " Aurora Floyd" and a farce will be produced. .
