VTEW ZEALAND. GOVEBNMENT LIFE INSURANCE. I—The Government Life Insurance Department issues all desirable forms of Policies. The Payment of every policy is guaranteed ly the Colony. Parti* cipation in Profits is authorised by the L r gialature lo bo given to Policy-holders. 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Pees charged. 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, until tho surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurerp, after having paid thiee full annual premium?, are guaranteed a cash surrender value of not Jess than 40 per cent, of. the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ere not paid when due, a paidup Policy -will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6--Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums. - 1 7~Liberal conditions ns to travelling and residence. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subecquently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of I Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims' and no discount charged.
