'Parti*., cipittion in Profits is authorised by the Legislature to be given .to Policy-holders. 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Pees charged. 4r-All Policies are non-forfeit- \ able after one full annual payment to the lull extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurers, after haying paid three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a caßh surrender value of not less than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums; and if for asy reason the premiums are not paid when due, a paidup Policy wiJLbe issued, generally equal in amount to the premium* paid, and often much in excess. 6-^Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Benewal Premiums. 7—Liberal conditions a» to travelling and residence, B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy* —An Insurance Polioy effected by the Insured, lonafide on his own life, is protected from bankruptcy, or insolvency laws to a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after it has endured ibr two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Policies, dispoee of the money by. will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies*-—Policies effected for the benefit of the wife and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not! made at the time, it can be subsequently made j by will. 11—Probate, <fee, dispensed with ■—When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims 1 and no discount charged.
