A CONTRADICTION.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Sib,—Noone has had authority from me to say that I would not be a candidate for the presidency of the Thames Hospital for the coming year. This matter I leave in the hands of my friends: if they think fit to elect me, I will do my best as I have hitherto done, to serve the institution.—l am, yours, <fee, W. Eowi.
