A large fire occurred at Sandridge, in Beach street. Several buildings were destroyed, and a large amount of property damaged. It was caused by incendiarism. Sir liedmond Barry is to be sworn in as Acting-Governor on the dcpaiture of Sir George Bow*>n.
There is no business doing. In the continuation of the Intercolonial Cricket Match, New South Wales made 86, with four wickets down. Thompson scored 35.
