PUMPING ASSOCIATION.
There is ycry little change to report from this great work, save that active preparations arc being made to get the 25-inch, or big lift placed in position, the present one being (as reported in Saturday's summary) inadequate to perform the duties required by the present great pressure of water. Tiie "fixings" (which is used for want of a more compreheasive word) are being put together on the surface, and will soon be ready to be placed in the shaft.
