ANNUAL MEETING.

The fifth annual meeting of this branch was held last evening at the Hibernian Hall, Shortland. Mr James Corbett, president, in the chair. The sick visitors reported two members still on the funds, and sick pay to the amount of £4 6s 8d was granted. Bills to the amount of £26 3s were rassed. for payment, jfhe election cf officers was then proceeded with. The following members were elected to the several offices for tho ensuing terms:—Bro. Foy, President; Bro. Clarke, Vice-President; Bro. Landers, Secretary. Bro. Foy consented to act as Treasurer until his successor be elected. Bro. J. Mahony, Warden, and Bro. Turney, Guardian. Medical attendant, Dr. Lethbridge. Newly elected officers were installed, and returned thanks for the honor conferred upon them. A cordial vote of thanks was passed to the retiring officers.

It was proposed and seconded—" That the Quarterly Beport and Balance Sheet be adopted."
