This school broke up', $>:day for a month's holiday s. Prior to t|ie; breaking up an, examination of the children was conducted by Mr Porter, one of the Committee of the district, and! Mr Mcllhone (who at the request of several of the parents and of Mr Howe as Chairmnn of the Committee, attended,): Mr Porter and Mr M cllhone addressed the children in a very complimentary manner, and also urged upon the parents the necessity of regular attendance on the part of the children. , We have heard that Mr Campbell, the teacher of the school, and several of the parents expressed great satisfaction at the result of the examination.
