DONNELLY V. DONNELLY. T his was a claim of £100 damages sustained by the plaintiff, the defendant having m the month of March last converted to his own use and wrongfully deprived the plaintiff of the use and possession of a post letter of the plaintiff's, addressed to the plaintiff; and thM the defendant, with full knowledge g£ the premises, wrongfully and improperly opened the said letter and read the contents thereof, and delivered the said letter to divers persons, and although often requested by the plaintiff to deliver to him the said letter, refused to deliver the same, to him, but disregarding his duty in that behalf wrongfully and improperly detained the same from the plaintiff for a long space of time, to wit, for four.weeks and upwards, wherefore the plaintiff claimed the damages stated. '-'" Mr Campbell appeared for the plaintiff; Messrs Macdonald and Tyler for defendant. Mr Campbell said he appeared with Mr Dodd for the plaintiff, and in coniequence of what had taken place yesterday, it was decided not to offer any evidence in this case. He would accept a nonsuit. The Court recorded a nonsuit. The costs amounted to £8 18s. The Court adjourned.
