Coijojiandel, This day. The Harbor View Iributers lodged with the Bank of New Zealand 130£ ounces from 130!bs. of specimens. There are 12 to 15 tons general stuff to crush. A new contract at 31s per foot has been let in the Pride of Tokatea low-level drive. The East London, Pauls district, struck gold in a small leader on the surface. The Coromandel Mail, in a leading article, to-day, libels a private citizen with charges of extortion and perjury. A case is being drawn up for Mr Lusk, solicitor, to proceed with. Mr Harris, Waugapoua, has fifty men at the booms getting logs ; tho late rains gave a splendid drive. Both mills will be full of work by the middle of next week. The month's gold exceeds 1500 ounces.
