MASONIC.

The monthly meeting of the Lodge of Light, 1.C., No. 454, was held at the Masonic Hall last night, the principal business being the election of officers for the ensuing twelve months. There was a large attendance of the brethren, and the greatest interest was evinced in the proceedings, the election being the first which has been held under, the new constitution altering the teraa of office from ■ix to twelve months. The following were elected to fill the various offices :— W.M.. Samuel Bawden; S.W., L. J. Bagnall; J.W., S. Mills; S. I>., James Ferguson ; J.D., James Patterson ; 1.G., William Drake ; Treasurer, Charles ( ox; Secretary, K. M. Mitchell; Chaplain, .Rev. V. Lush; Senior Steward, Alexander Hopkins; Junior Steward, Thomas Badford; Auditors, P. M. Alexander Aitken and Bro. Thomas Horsbrugh; Tyler, John Eoss.
