The importation of grape vines into the colony is prohibited by proclamation in the New Gazette.of November 12, under the provisions of " The Customs Eegulation Act, 1858."

The Quarterly Statements- of the various Banks doing business in the Colony and a general statement of their liabilities and assets. \ Keturns of the quality and value;'of oxports at the several ports of Nnw Zealand for the quarter ended 30th September, and the number and tannage of vessels cleared outwards and inwards for, the same term ; also, in the same gazette, a statement showing the number and amount of Money Orders and Savings Bank Transactions in the several, postal districts for the same quarter.
