CRICKET.
A match, the World versus England, was played on the Parawai cricket ground on Saturday. The weather was particularly favorable, and a number of persons went to Parawai to witness the play. The game was very spirited, and, as will be seen by the subjoined report of scores, some very good batting was made :—
