CIVIL SIDE.

JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFFS.

In the following cases judgment went for plaintiffs with costs :— J. jFoss v. T. Millett—a claim of £1 6s 4d for goods ; same v. Daniel Tye—a claim of 16s; same v. J. Maher—claim, £9 19s sd, for goods. J. B. Mason v. Claude French Corlett — claim of £2 10s, dishonored cheque.

CASE WITHDRAWN. —CHARLES HATCHET V. H. HAYWOOD. This was a claim of £24 6s 8d for goods. Mr. Cameron appeared for plaintiff to ask for a withdrawal of the case, as the defendant had filed a declaratien of insolvency.

ADJOURNED CASES.

The following cases of'appeal against the Borough Assessment, adjourned from the 23rd ultimo, were adjourned 'to the 13th instant* on the application of Mr. Macdonald, who appears on behalf of the companies:—lmperial Crown G.MCo. Limited, Caledonian G.M.Co. Eegistered, Golden Crown . G.M.Co. Eegi*tered, Kuranui G.M.Co. Eegistered. TJir'ted Pumping Association. J. W. Shaw T . J. Parrell—A claim of £4 5s for goods. In this case plaintiff made no appearance, and the case was adjourned to the 13th insfc. This being the orly business, the Court adjourned.
