THAMES HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.
The members of the Committee of the Thames Hospital assembled at the Salutation Hotel yesterday. There were present— Eers.' -J; Hill and Eather Lonnergan, Messrs. McDonald, Mcllhone, Cox, Frater, Macnab, Wilkinson, Sims, Kennan and Eenshavr. ; ,
The chairman read a telegram from the Superintendent* asking whether the committee or other parties would be prepared to meet the Enquiry Commissioners on the d\y of their arrival. Mr. Mellhone moved -r " That the president be requested to wait upon the gentlemen v appointed to conduct the inquiry this evening, to consult with them upon the steps desirable to be taken, and to instruct the secretary to attend to them as they require.*'
Mr- Sims moved an amendment that the secretary be instructed to wait upon Dr.Philson and Mr. Luslc. In moving his amendment he said it would do away with comments that might be made outside if no member had anything to do with the enquiry. /'..'■ A good deal of discussion ensued, and the original motion was ultimately carried by a large majority.--Communicated.
