ON KISSING.
A lady friend has transmitted to us the following " Opinions of the Press," upon ; the subject of the text which ; tells 'you that Jacob kissed Rachel and lifted up his voice and wept:— " If Eachel was a pretty girl, and kept her face clean, we can't see what Jacob had to cry about."—Daily Telegraph. "Weeping is not unfrequentiy produced by extreme pleasure, joy, happiness ; it might hare been so in Jacob's case." —Hardwicke's Science Gossip. * " The cause of Jacob's weeping was the refusal of Bachel to allow him to kisa her again."—Nonconformist.
