ITALIAN.

The manager reports that a few colors of gold were met with in the new reef (supposed to be the Nonpareil No 1) this morning. As the lode was only intersected on Wednesday very little has been done upon it beyond following S; W. for a couple of feet or so, and the result is a nice body of rubbly quartz over 18 inches wide. Driving on the lode will be continued, and.it is hoped, with more satisfactory results than have yet fallen to the lot of the company.
