The usual fortnightly clean up for this company will take take place to-morrow, and the yield promises to be much larger than last, from 650 ounces to 700 ounces ,of gold being expected. Tho number of stampers employed is 47, but a great deal of lost time has arisen at their own battery, so that a fair average of stampers employed to be 40. The development of the new reef a.t the bottom level continues South to ascertain if it joini the footwail of No. 2 reef; in this direction it is not quite so compact as where intersected, probably to its proximity with the main lade. At present the size is about 2 feet flanked by good country, and containing visible gold. A trial crushing thefore will shortly take place. The sinking of the shaft progresses favorably, a depth of 51 feet having been obtained.
