They therefore tied the writ to the cable and retreated. Tho ship sailed during the night. The difference at issue was settled this morning by the owner of ths Lady Bowen offering his crew £500 out of the £1,625 award, which they accepted. i The City of Auckland haii arrived from London, after a passage of 107 days.
