Auckland, 8.26 a.m. This day. The Tartar has arrived with the? English mails. She left San Francisco on July 28, and arrived at Honolulu the sth August, having made the fastest .passage recorded. Left on the 6th and arrived at Kandavu oa the 18th, but finding no vessel there proceeded on to Auckland, arriving last night at 11 o'clock.' Passengers for New Zealand-~Sal66n: Mr. and Mrs. Morrin, Mr. and Mrs. Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Captain Weave, Messrs. O'Neill, Coombes, Mills, Tarratt. V. H. Keesing.
