THIS DAT. .-. (Before W. Fraiu, Eiq.,B.M.) CIVIL SIDE. JUDGMENTS FOB PIAISTIFFS. Peter Iforbury t. Began— £4 3s lOd, and costs 20s; Waiotahi GM.Co. v. Hand and Band Gr.M.C. No appearance lof the defendant. Claim was for quartz ! crashing. James Smith proved the debt £12 19s 7d; verdict for plaintiff, with costs £2 Bs, subject to the production of the deeds of incorporation of both com--panies. Elliott v. Martin—a claim for £3 2s Bd. Defendant stated he understood His Worship to say at a previous hearing, that plaintiff, would have to pay him a set-off before he paid plaintiff. Judgment for amount, with costs, to be paid at the rate of 5s per fortnight. ADJOUBNED CASES. Began v. Golden Bar O.M.C. — adjourned till the 28th; .Kennedy v. O. M. Creagh till the 21st of August.
