ME. HILL'S LETTER.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sic,—The Rev. James Hill may be, and no dcubt is, a worthy specimen of the Church Militant. His taste for controversy (whether it be religious or -otherwise .matters little to him, so long as it be controversy) is notorious ; so I am not surprised at his long-winded epistle in this morning's Advertiser. But what earthly good it will do J am at a loss to imagine; He says it is of "no use to quibble about a word. v Why his letter is a quibble from beginning to end, and it is probably intended to throw the public off the true scent, namely, the inevitable inquiry into hospital management. Whilst professing to facilitate such inquiry, the Eev. Mr. Jiill seems inclined to have a little fun on his own account, and unintentionally, no doubt, to set everybody " by the ears."—Yours, A. Looker-on.
