: Richard'Lloyd'was charged with having been drunk and incapable in Albertstreet. Defendant pleaded guilty. Fined 10s and costs.

John Donovan was charged by John Bell that he did on or about Aprily 1874, steal and carry away from a tent at Grahamstown a pair of iron rowlocks, of the value of two shillings and sixpence, the property of the said John Bell. Defendant pleaded not guilty. ,On the application of the police the accused was remanded for one week.

In answer to a question by the Bench, it appeared that the accused was the brother of the lad who was sentenced to six months' imprisonment yesterday His Worship said it was a sad; thing. Court adjourned. :
