SIAMESE TROUPE.
These interesting and clever people made their second appearance at the Academy of Music last night. The programme was in some respects, similar to that of the previous evening, but embracing several new features; The contortions of the younger members of the troupe were gone through with the usual completeness, and the tumbling was also as cleanly executed as could be possible. A very small specimen of the celestial race went through a performance on the trapeze, doing all the feats of older professors with a nerve and daring which can only have been acquired by a training which must have commenced as soon as the little thing could toddle. One of the troupe performed on the slack wire—first with umbrella and fan, then without any guch aids ; then the performer proceeded to divest himself of one robe and put on another; all the time maintaining his equilibrium on the. wire. This evening we expect to see an improvement in the attendance, for we have no doubt there are many persons in the district who have not yet seen a performance of the kind, which is really a most interesting entertainment.
