Dctnedin, Saturday. -Fire in Dunedin-

A large fire occurred in Princes-street this morning in the shop of. A. E. Hay, draper. The- cause is unknown—suppled to be a defective stove. No one wan M^the' premises. The' building jwas' gutted. Hogg and Hutton's premises were threatened,, bufc were onjy damaged by the water. AHa^s; insurance is as follows—Building, in the South British £1000; Livcrpool'and London and Globe, .£1000; London : aqd Lancashire, £500 (doubtful). The stock—in the Australian Alliance for, £1000; Victoria, £1000. Hogg and Hutton's damage is covered by their insurance, £1000 in,,the Norwich Union. '
