LONG'S TRIBUTE.
A parcel of 25.tons of stone has been put through at the Prince Alfred battery for a return of 24ozs 7dwts of melted gold. Long's tribute is in part of the Tookey Company's ground, and has for some time past been pluckily worked. The yield is not quite up to expectations, but the tributers seem to bo nil desperandum sort of fellows and hope for better luck. ' " 5 '
