Auckland, Thursday. Two seamen of j the ship Rooparell violently assaulted a man in a house of ill fame in Edward-street. It is believed the injuries will be fatal. They broke his jaw and tore his eye out, and injured ■his chest by kicking and, jumping on him. One.; of the men named John Pascoe has been arrested.
