It is intended to form a Local Committee from amongst the number of applicants here, for the purpose of allotting snares in this province, and generally euperintending the actions of the Company. The share list will close on 10th July, and early application for shares should therefore be made, so as to arrange for formation of local committees without any delay, and a deputation of Provisional Directors from Dunedin will "'soon" visit this province, for the purposei of jjo-operating with the local committee.
