WESTLAND.
_ Gbeymouth, This day. The Greyiuouth Coalmining Company have bottomed their main shaft, and proved tlie seam fourteen feet thick. The coal is of excellent quality. A seam of first-class fire clay underlies the coal, the thickness of which has not been proved.
_ HoKtTiKA, This day. The following are members of the < new Executive :—Mr. Chas. Woolcock; Provincial Secretary; Mr. William Todd, Provincial Treasurer.
