ACADEMY OF MUSIC.
Last night, so far as weather is concerned, was, if possible, more wretched than the night before; still the Smith Combination Troupe drew a fair attendance to. the pit and gallery. The programme was entirely changed in many* of its parts, Mr. St. Vincent and Mdlle. Montebello singing and playing if possible better than on previous nights. The De' Castro family introduced several new and wonderful gymnastic feats, which, with the amusing bye-play of the little folks, elicited repeated applause. Mons. Airec's performances on the trapeze were excellently given. : Mi*. \Val ybse gave an entire change in his vcntriloquial entertainment, .introducing two lay figures, between whom he kept up a most amusing dialogue. The talking hand gave Val Vose an opportunity of showing his wonderful powers still further. . The audience again and again applauded the company, and it certainly did not forget to give Mr. St. Vincent a hearty encore for his local comic song.
