AUCKLAND. Auckland, This day. Intelligence has been received that floods in the Kaipara have washed away sixty tons of coal belonging to Casey from the Kaihu wharf.
The Hero has been detained till two o'clock on Saturday. In the Supreme Court the bankruptcy trustee's report in Thome's estate shewed the liabilities to be £31,961. The assets had not realised what was expected of them.
Sharemarket—The following business has been done:—Caledonian, £10 ss; Crown Prince, 18s ; City of London, 265, firm ; B:rd in Hand, 325. Sellers: Alburnia, 425. No buyers.
