The Times says that the arrangement for reciprocal admission of goods between New Zealand and Tasmania has not been concluded, but that a circular letter, covering a memorandum approved, of in tbe Executive Council has been sent by the Colonial Secretary to each of the Australian Governments and Tasmania suggesting the products mentioned in the telegram ai those respecting which reciprocal arrangements might be made. The memorandum in published. ? In the Court of Appeal case—the Queen versus Goudge, the prisoner had been tried in Auckland on an indictment for assault, with intent to commit an unnatural offence. The decree of the Court was that judgment be given on the conviction on the indictment for assault with intent at the next sittings of the Circuit Court in Auckland.
