TWA HOURS AT HAME.

The entertainment of the Kennedy Family will be given at the Academy of Music for th» first time on the Thames this evening, and we have no doubt all lovers of Scottish song and anecdote will be present to enjoy the treat in store— such a treat as they have not had the opportunity of enjoying for a long time— probably never in New Zealand. The entertainment requires very little recommendation at our hands. It has evoked the most intense enthusiasm elsewhere, which has not been confined to Scotchmen ; for there are few (persons but can appreciate the music and poetry of Scottish bards, and jthe rich humour of Scottish writers such a Christopher North and the Ettrick Shepherd.
