THE POINT RUSSELL (TEASDALE'S TRIBUTE).

A lot of about 50 tone is broken out ready for the mill. The crushing will commence next week at the Prince Alfred battery. The stone is taken from a. reef from 2to 8 feet thick. There are some nice specimens to hand during the last few days. A small leader has been opened up on, which has taken a good deal of dead work to get at. This leader bore good gold at a higher level, and good results are expected irom it from where it is at present being worked.
