“None Was Genuinely Subscribed” (7.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, Dec. 5. The Country Party’s hands had been tied in the nation’s interests during the war, but he could now state that since 1941 not one loan had been genuinely subscribed to the extent claimed by the Federal Government, said the Leader of the Federal Country Party, Mr A. W. Fadden. T oans said Mr Fadden, had been filled only by using Savings Bank deposits. It would be interesting to see the real composition of the loans as between genuine subscriptions and Savings Bans deposits and other means, and he intended to make an inquiry.
