Arabs Call For Boycott (Rec. 7.30 pun.) CAIRO. Dec. 3. The council of the Pan-Arab League passed a resolution calling for action “against the Zionist economic danger,” and urging every Arab in the country from January 1 to boycott all goods manufactured in Palestine, The resolution described conunodities of Palestine origin as undesirable and continued importation into Arao countries as an aio to Zionist aims. It also called on neighbouring countries not belonging to tne Arab League to join in the boycott. The secretary-general of the Arab League, Abdul Azzam Bey. said the boycott was not directed agamst ftws as a people, but against the Z'ohtst movement. The measures would be lifted as soon as Jewish immigration about the fate of 70.000 Arabs working in Jewish industries m Palestine. Azzam Bey said he believed the Zionists would be glad to see them pxnelled from Palestine. One hundred and forty Palestinians charged with breaking the curfew were"released from custody, says Reuters Jerusalem correspondent. They Irivp been imprisoned since November 26 for breaking the curfew regulations in tlie Naniaria area, in which is a Jewish settlement which was the scene of the recent disorders.
