BUSY WEEK IN COMMONS
Interest In Censure Motion LONDON. November 30. The House of Commons has a big week ahead of it, highlight of which will be the Opposition’s motion of censure. Mr Oliver Lyttelton will open the debate on Wednesday and Mr Churchill will lead on Thursday. Government speakers are to include the Prime Minister ‘Mr Attlee), Mr Herbert Morrison, and Sir Stafford Qripps. On Tuesday the Government's statement on ' India will be brought down but it is understood that there is to be no debate. The 8.8.C.’s Parliamentary correspondent states that the prospect of a deoate on Palestine before Christmas is fading. The Liberals have tabled an amendment to the censure motion for which the Conservatives have been granted two days’ debating time hi the House of Commons next week, states the Exchange Telegraph Agency. The Liberal amendment regrets certain aspects of Government policy and practice, but in less severe terms. The Liberals praise the Government's declarations on foreign policy and recognise .he difficulties faclhg the Government.
