DEATH ANNOUNCED
Mr S. N. E. Wynne (N.Z.P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 31. Mr Sydney Nicholas Brian Wynno, a well-known businessman, died suddenly in Wellington to-day. Mr Wynne, who had been ill for a short period, left Christchurch for Wellington on Tuesday. Born at Dunedin 48 years ago, Mr Wynne was educated at the Otago Boys’ High School. At the age of 19 he left New Zealand with a reinforcement of Ilic First New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Mr Wynne began his employment with the British Imperial Oil Company. which later became the Shell Oil Company. At the time of his dealt) he was attached to the head office in Wellington, and was South Island superintendent of the company. A member of the Christchurch Golf Club. Mr Wynne was a low handicap player, and took a prominent part in the game. H" was a member of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce and the Christchurch Returned Services’ Associa'ion. Ills wife died about a year ago and he is survived by two sons and two daughters.
