OKINAWA TYPHOON
Naval Casualties
(12.20.) PEARL HARBOUR. Oct. 14. The Navy announced that 28 naval men were killed. 70 missing, and 423 injured in the Okinawa typhoon. The army has already announced that 100 of its personnel were injured. Army Headquarters has been informed that the typhoon almost completely wiped out the island's west coast ports, with their beach installations.
