IMMIGRATION INTO PALESTINE

Stern Moslem Stand (9.10 p.m.) BOMBAY. Oct. 3. Mr M. A. Jinnah (Moslem leader) in a cable message to Mr C. R. Attlee, said: "President Truman’s reported Palestine immigration proposal is an unwarranted encroachment upon another country. It is monstrous and highly unjust. Any departure from the White Paper and Britain’s pledges will be not only a flagrant breach of faith with Moslem India, but an acid test of British honour. It is my duty to inform you that any- surrender to apnease Jewry at the expense of the Arabs would be deeply resented and vehemently resisted by Moslem India ”
