TIMOR RESTORED
Portugal Rejoices (7.10 p.m.) LISBON, Oct. 2. Portugal is rejoicing over the final act of the Timor drama. The official communique issued yesterday reveals that four Portuguese destroyers arrived at Dilli on September 27 and a troopship arrived two days later. Europeans and natives welcomed the crews enthusiastically. It adds that there has been complete order throughout Timor since the restoration of Portuguese sovereignty.
