General Sir Claude Auchinleck, Ccmmander-in-Chief in India, has congratulated the West African troops who are now leaving India. The first contingent is already on its way and is due to disembark at Sierra Leone. Replying to the Commander-in-Chief’s tribute to the West Africans’ service, the commander of the 14th West African Anti-Aircraft Brigade said the men would take with them happy memories of the kindness and goodwill shown to them.
