WEATHER SOUTH CANTERBURY FORECAST

UNSETTLED The following is the forecast lor South Canterbury issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:— General Situation A group of depressions surround New Zealand. Forecast Winds.—Fresh to strong southerlies. Weather.—Dull and colder with further rain, but improving temporarily from the south. The maximum temperature was 45 dgerees and the minimum 38. Eight points of rain were recorded. The glass was falling last evening.
