PEACE MEDALLION
Issue to School Children (N.Z.P.A.) HASTINGS, Sept. 28. Information that the striking of a peace medallion for each school child was under consideration has been received from the Department of Internal Affairs by the Hastings Borough Council. The Department also states it Is expected that there would be peace celebrations similar to those held after the last war, but no official advice could be given at this stage as to the official neace dav.
