The Central Committee of the Mining .Association unanimous!; accepted the report of the* Technical Committee on Research on the mining side, it is announce ’ Immediate steps are being taken to plenicnt the recommendations. The Technical Committee recommended that research should Im? tackled in a way never before and financed on a scale appropriate to the importance of the industry. The foundation of the research structure will be the British Colliery Owners’
