Social At Waituna
I'he school at Waituna was tilled to capacity to welcome home Major N. A. Ratt ray. The chairman 'Mr W. Campbell) after expressing the pleasure of the residents at Major Rattray's return, spoke of the guest's career as a soldier. 'I he speaker said he was sure Major Rattray would again give his services to local bodies. Other speakers were Messrs E F'olev and F. Meyer. Mi - A. Copland spoke on behalf of the Returned Services' Association. 'l'he chairman called uu Mrs Camp-
bell to present a small gift to the guest. Major Rattray thanked the speakers and those present for their warm welcome. Extras were supplied by Miss N. Foley 'son ,r s). Miss A. Patterson 'piano), and Mrs E. Clark 'piano*. The music was supplied by Mr I). Taylor and Mr G. Court acted as M.C.
