FINE The following is the forecast tor South Canterbury issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:— General Situation An anti-cyclone is centred over the South Island and a deep depression south of Tasmania, Forecast Winds.—Light to moderate variable with north-easterlies predominating near the coast to-morrow. Weather.—Fair to fine and still cold with severe frosts. Further Outlook. —Fair and cold.
